Who reads your words

A check on Arti's own server reads every message. What you say to the room, when that check can't judge it, may go to a model run by Anthropic for a second look: its words only, never who said it. When you speak to one of the staff or the house regulars, your words and the room's last few lines go to their model, also run by Anthropic, without anyone's handle. Every picture for the canvas is seen by a model run by Anthropic before anyone else sees it: the picture alone, made small, without its title, caption or your name. No other whisper is ever sent to a model.

When a person reads them

Arti's owner reads a message's words only where moderation needs a person: a hidden message you appeal, a message that members' reports hid, and a private message that the member it was sent to reports; the owner also reads the guestbook. Private messages are private from the room, not from Arti's itself; outside those cases, no person reads them.

What the house keeps

A record of what is done here, and how each patron came in; no other patron is shown it. The staff remember members: what the house saw and your own words to them, as a bartender's memory is; it fades 12 months after your last visit. What they keep of a guest without an account lasts while its pass lives, a week after its last use.

Your network address

Arti's never stores it itself: it keeps a hash of it where it has to count, with an account, with a report, and for a guest without an account.
